Catharine Arnston

Founder and CEO ENERGYbits Inc.

Boston Ma.

Summary

Catharine started ENERGYbits Inc. after her younger sister developed breast cancer and was advised by her oncologist that an alkaline diet would help her heal. While researching alkaline foods for her sister, Catharine discovered algae. When she learned it could be swallowed and was the most alkaline, nutrient dense food in the world, she knew she had found the fastest, easiest way for athletes and consumers to gain the benefits of greens without having to eat them. When she later discovered that spirulina algae increased mental and physical energy and chlorella algae helped athletes recover naturally, both without caffeine, chemicals, sugar or gluten, she knew algae would be a game changer for the world.
